Privacy Policy

FairShare is an offline Islamic inheritance calculator. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All calculations run entirely on your device.

FairShare does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, device ID)
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or calendar access
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Health, financial account, or payment information

The app requests no permissions and makes no outbound network requests.

The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves it:

• Saved calculations you explicitly choose to save, including heir counts, selected school of thought (madhhab), and any name you assign to the calculation. Stored via Apple SwiftData in the app's local container.
• App preferences, including your language choice (English or Arabic) and your selected madhhab. Stored via Apple UserDefaults.

You can delete saved calculations at any time from the home screen. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

FairShare uses no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app includes a local Swift Package (FairShareEngine) for calculation logic and a design-system package (GuigaDesign) for UI components. Neither package performs network activity or collects data.

FairShare does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for educational use at any age.

Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to return, modify, or delete on a server. To delete your data, delete the app or remove individual saved calculations from within the app.
